Pennsylvania Women Work (PA Women Work) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals from diverse backgrounds achieve economic self-sufficiency. PA Women Work provides free services to thousands of women each year.
Pennsylvania Women Work provides job readiness, education and services through a network of 13 statewide New Choices programs.
The New Choices program is a free service provided to individuals in transition, displaced homemakers, and single parents that promotes educational support, career training, and job search assistance. In addition, participants receive individualized counseling and goal-setting skills tailored to each person’s need. The program provides an environment that preserves dignity, respects diversity, and supports personal choice.

PA Women Work is comprised of individuals and community service organizations, such as the New Choices Career Development Services, working to provide job training and employment services to single parents, displaced homemakers, and low-income heads of households.

The mission of Pennsylvania Women Work is to promote the economic self-sufficiency and ensure the empowerment of single parents, displaced homemakers and individuals in transition and to advocate for educational and economic equity.

The vision of PAWW is that individuals in transition will participate fully in planning and achieving their career education and personal goals in a setting that preserves dignity and personal choice.
