Pennsylvania Women Work’s “Reshaping Your Future” career conference is held every spring in downtown Pittsburgh. Conference attendees include men and women of all backgrounds who are looking to make a change in their career paths. The daylong conference includes two keynote speakers and ten break-out sessions covering a variety of topics including interview skills, resume writing, and networking techniques.

Local corporations are invited to set up tables and present job opportunities and attendees are encouraged to network with these representatives. The event is sponsored in part by several local corporations.

Pennsylvania Women Work’s 14th Annual Career Conference will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at the PNC Firstside Center, one of the largest LEED-certified green buildings in the world, located in downtown Pittsburgh.

Excellent workshops will be offered, providing participants with valuable information to recognize one’s transferable skills, tackling the lengthy online job application, making a great first impression, starting your own business, and much more. Mock interviews will also be held, so that participants can practice their answers and achieve self-confidence.
