Our clients are individuals making a transition in their work life - entering or re-entering the workforce, changing careers or training for a new career. Our clients are working hard to make a better life for themselves and their families, which is why we work hard to remove some of the barriers women face in finding employment and self-sufficiency for their families. Your donation will help these families to reach and maintain economic self-sufficiency.
• Give an individual a scholarship to go back to school ($500)
• Help an individual buy books to complete their education ($100)
• Assist with transportation for a job search or during a training program ($75)
• Help a needy family pay their utility bills ($50)
• Put a few more groceries in the shopping basket for a single parent ($25)

Last year, more than 440 hours were donated to PA Women Work by more than 135 volunteers through our business clothing closet, Circle of Hope fundraiser, Career Conference and other events. Our volunteers have helped clients choose interview suits to make them shine, presented new employment opportunities, offered budgeting tips, and mentored women through a work transition in their life. If you have time to make a difference in the lives of women, please contact us [info@pawomenwork.org] to learn more.
