The Educational Opportunity Center is a Federal TRIO program designed to provide information and counseling to adults who would like to go to college or other post-secondary education institutions. The Educational Opportunity Center is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education and is sponsored by Penn State University as part of the University’s land grant mission to serve the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

To qualify, you must be an eligible U.S. citizen, 19 years of age or older, and be considered low income by federal guidelines. Children whose parents did not receive a bachelor’s degree may also qualify.
